Dr. Dan is originally from Ottawa, a graduate of Marquette High School (Class of ’96). He studied Pre-Medicine/Biology at St. Ambrose University and Northern Illinois University, where he received the Certificate of Academic Excellence in Biology and the Academic Athlete Award for his participation in Division I Football. Dr. Farrell completed his doctoral studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where he also participated in the Clinic America program (providing free chiropractic care to the underserved Blackfeet Indian Reservation in northwest Montana). Following graduation, Dr. Farrell worked as an associate at Family Health Chiropractic in Joliet. In June of 2004, he opened Farrell Chiropractic in Ottawa. He is an active member of the Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a co-founder of the Ottawa Business Builders. He is also a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Illinois Chiropractic Society. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Molly (a kindergarten teacher at McKinley Elementary), and their son, Sean Patrick.
